The studio

Behind navat.ai stands Grupo Navatea, a company set up in Madrid, Spain, in 2008. We are a venture studio specialising in building digital products of our own and in delivering technology solutions to our clients.

The people

Two founding partners with separate roles. Both of them work on the product: one on the architecture and the code, the other on management, design, the mobile apps and everything around taking them to market.

Technical leadership (CTO)

AI integration, full-stack development and cloud architecture. Analyses the problems, designs the systems, plans the architectures and makes the important technical decisions, in Rust and Python and on AWS and GCP. Answers for them on every project, our own and our clients'.

Over 25 years in the industry, with spells at Telefónica/Movistar, Sun Microsystems and SIA Group (Indra), and projects for Visa, Domestika and Tenth Revolution Group. AWS and GCP certified.

Miriam Sainz Sánchez

Operations leadership (COO)

Business Administration and Management · MBA from CEPADE-UPM

Company administration, marketing and the commercial launch of each product: positioning, acquisition and the funnel every user comes in through. Also runs the relationship with clients and suppliers, and the day-to-day running of the studio and the products already in the market.

She also works on the product itself: the graphic design and the brand identity of every product in the studio come from her desk, as do the native Android and iOS apps, built on her long experience with Flutter.

How the team scales

Two people do not cover everything, and there is no denying it. So we go further and scale the team two ways, giving more weight to one or the other depending on what each moment calls for.

Specialists, task by task

We design and train our own AI agents for the jobs that software and product engineering are made of. Each one masters a single task of the process — analysis, design, implementation, testing, review, documentation and deployment — and they all work to our strict, carefully built standards and policies.

They let us take on in weeks what used to take months. They do not decide the architecture: they carry it out.
